LORDS & LASS

Lords and Lass are Heather, Charles and Andrew Maxwell, a Queensland-based musical trio who will perform Scottish and Irish traditional music, with a fleck of their own contemporary interpretations. You can catch them on the Downs Explorer heritage return train trip between Clifton and Greenmount on Friday 3 October; alternatively you will also spot them roaming around CelticFest on Saturday 4 October and Sunday 5 October.
These talented musicians perform in a variety of styles including traditional Scottish poetry, solo instrumentals, and combined performances. Their instruments include violin, mandolin, guitar, tin whistle, accordion, and double bass. They are veteran Celtic festival performers, with festival experience, and street savvy performances.
DUBLIN DAN
Dublin Dan is a solo Irish folk singer and guitarist. His repertoire includes ballads, folk classics and modern covers, all with a distinctive Dublin twist. Dan is passionate about music and proud to carry on the great traditions and touchstones of Irish culture and heritage. He has performed extensively at popular open mics all over Brisbane and gigs regularly at venues and festivals around South-East Queensland (including the 2023 Warwick Celtic Festival).
