What can I bring to CelticFest?

Camping chair & rug. Seats are provided at the indoor venues and in the Grandstand.

CelticFest is held at the Warwick Showgrounds, which has sloped and uneven areas. Wear sensible footwear.

Bring sunscreen and a hat! There are some sheltered areas but check the forecast before you come and be prepared for rain or shine.

Bring layers to keep warm in the evening.

If the forecast is for rain please bring suitable shoes (e.g. gumboots), a poncho or raincoat or a rain umbrella.
What can’t I bring to CelticFest?
The following items are prohibited from CelticFest:

tables, tents, or sun shelters;

beach/sun umbrellas;

alcohol;

glass;

Eskys;
-
illicit substances;
-
weapons of any sort including Tasers, mace spray (except with prior written approval by CelticFest);

animals (except dogs – see below);

beanbags, blow-up chairs or lounges;

fireworks or flares;

drones;

items capable of being used as a projectile.
What type of chair can I bring?
You are permitted to bring a standard camping/deck chair and rug. Beware of the uneven surfaces.
No reclining chairs, beanbags, blow-up air chairs or lounges.
In general, please be considerate of other patrons when positioning yourselves so as to not block the view of the events for others.
What ticket types are available?
Earlybird weekend-only tickets for CelticFest Warwick are on sale now – head to our Tickets Page, to get yours at the very low price of $50 for adults for the weekend pass, which includes admission to the event on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend pass also includes the Saturday night entertainment – the Celtic Party Night - comprising ‘The Gathering’ Irish band headlining on the CelticFest main stage, and the ceili ‘Celtic Bushdance’ in The Pavilion. Earlybird weekend tickets will be available until they sell out.
Weekend tickets for children (under 18) are free, but children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Early bird weekend-only tickets are available until midnight on Thursday 31 July, after which online ticket pricing for day and weekend tickets will apply until midnight on Friday 3 October.
From Friday 1 August Online ticket prices will apply: $35 for Saturday (10am-10pm), $30 for Sunday (9am-4pm) and $60 for Weekend tickets. In addition, CelticFest Warwick is offering a new $15 ticket in 2025, for entry from 5pm-10pm Saturday 4 October only to the CelticFest Party Night (‘The Gathering’ Irish band on the Main Stage, and the ceilidh ‘Celtic Bushdance’ in the Pavilion).
Again, weekend, day, and Saturday-night-only tickets are free for children (under 18) who must be accompanied by a paying adult.
We encourage CelticFest visitors to purchase tickets online, because on-the-day ticket pricing at the gate will increase to $40 for Saturday, $35 for Sunday, $65 for Weekend tickets, and $20 for Celtic Party Night from 5pm-11pm Saturday 4 October only.
We offer lower prices to help our community. As the prices are already low we do not offer additional concessions, however we do offer free admission for Carer/Companion-Card Holders.
What happens if it rains?
If it does rain CelticFest will go ahead unless conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If the CelticFest committee cancels CelticFest patrons will receive a refund. If the forecast is for even the possibility of rain bring good quality raincoats, brollies and suitable footwear. Please consider other patrons when using rain umbrellas.
The decision to cancel CelticFest will be made as early as possible but may not be made until the morning. In the event of inclement weather patrons should check this website and/or Facebook BEFORE departing for messages.
We will also send out cancellation notifications via email to pre-purchased ticket holders and e-news subscribers. Please ensure your contact details are up to date when purchasing a ticket.
Where can I find a Program?
Programs will be available free of charge on event day from our Information Stand located near the Doug Feez Pavilion directly opposite the pedestrian entrance at Gate 1. A program with greater detail will also be available from our website. This will be a downloadable document for you to keep on your device.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
No, alcohol is available to purchase from the Bar. Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols are enforced. Consideration of your fellow patrons is expected at all times. Aggression, intoxication, or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the venue.
Can I bring my own food?
CelticFest offers a broad selection of food vendors with delicious Celtic options; you are here to try something different or something familiar, are you not? You are permitted to bring your own food to the event however we do have a broad offering of food vendors onsite. Every attempt is made to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for by the contracted food vendors however if you have a specific dietary requirement it is advised to bring your own food. Eskys will not be permitted.
Can I bring a stroller or a pram?
You are permitted to bring prams and strollers for your children into CelticFest. They may be subject to security checks. Please note: there are uneven and grassy surfaces, and stairs at the venue so please take care, and remember to be considerate of other patrons at all times. Disabled access is available.
There will be very limited street parking outside the Warwick Showgrounds on Kingsford Street. The pedestrian entrance is at Gate 1.
Please, take great care when exiting your vehicles and walking to CelticFest, and obey common courtesy and road rules. Also, please be considerate of local residents and their driveways.
Parking is at owner’s risk.
Where can I park?
There will be very limited street parking outside the Warwick Showgrounds on Kingsford Street. The pedestrian entrance is at Gate 1. Details are yet to be confirmed for additional carparking, but will likely include Australiana Park and town centre carparks, all with a shuttle bus service.
Bus Parking?
Bus and coach parking is available onsite by prior arrangement only.
Disabled Parking?
A disabled car parking option for those with a valid disabled parking sticker is available through Gate 4 on Kingsford Street. There will be limited disabled car parking so we suggest arriving earlier in the day to secure one. Please follow directions through the showgrounds to the disabled parking area.
Please be aware that while there are paved areas within the Showgrounds, there are also uneven and grassy surfaces, so please move around with care.
Parking is at owner’s risk.
Is First Aid available?
Yes! There will be a signed first aid service at the event near the Information Tent (see program for map). Please ask Volunteers, Event staff or First Aid officers for help. Please consider others as well as your own safety. If someone requires medical attention please let a Volunteer, Event staff or First Aid officer know so they can help as soon as possible.
Are Pass-outs available?
Yes, we will provide you with a wrist band if you need to exit the venue.
Can I smoke?
No, CelticFest will be a non-smoking event.
Where is the Information Stand?
The Information Stand will be located directly across from the pedestrian entrance at Gate 1.
Where is Lost Property?
If you lose something, please go to the Information Stand to check if it’s been handed in by a fellow patron.
If you find something that belongs to someone else, please be a good citizen and hand it in to Lost Property at the Information Stand.
Will the programme schedule or artists be likely to change?
Occasionally changes occur that are out of our control. Scheduled performance times and artist line-ups are subject to change. No refund will be offered in these circumstances.
Are EFTPOS facilities available?
An onsite ATM will be available within the grounds to make cash withdrawals. Some vendors will offer Card, but it is still recommended to bring enough cash for the day. Our front gate will accept EFTPOS for ticket purchases.
Are their facilities for disabled people?
Yes. Disabled toilets, parking and viewing areas are available. Please Note: there are sloped and uneven areas around the venue. A dedicated disabled parking area will be available. Companion/Carer Card holders are entitled to a free ticket for their carer. Accessible toilets are located in the main toilet areas on site, at either end of the toilet block. If you require additional assistance, or would like to provide feedback on our disabled servicing, please see the information tent at the front entrance.
Can I bring my dog?
Socialised pet dogs and service dogs are welcome at the festival but must be kept on a lead at all times. It’s your responsibility as pet owner to clean up after your furry friend.
Besides driving, are their other transport options available?
There will be other transport options available, including a shuttle bus running on Saturday during event hours. Further details are yet to be confirmed.
Can I use any of the images/content from CelticFest for my own purposes?
You must not use any CelticFest trademarks, images, names, or logos without the prior written permission of CelticFest. Any other trademarks, product names, company names, logos or images within the CelticFest event are the property of their respective owners, and may not be used without the prior written permission of their respective owners.
Are tickets available at the gate?
Yes, we will have cash and card-purchasing facilities at the pedestrian Entrance Gate 1. We do however recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of the CelticFest event, to take advantage of the lower pricing. Ticket prices will be higher at the gate on the day/s of the event.
Can a lost ticket be replaced?
If you have lost your ticket, review the email sent to you by I Wanna Ticket when you purchased it. If you forget it on the day, you will need to show our ticketing staff your photo ID so they can search the ticketing database. This is only possible if the ticket is in your name or you are with the person who bought it.
Can I get a refund?
If CelticFest has been cancelled (without a rescheduled event) or there are legal requirements that provide otherwise (including those of Australian Consumer Law), tickets will be refunded. Refunds won’t be provided if you change your mind.
In the event of cancellation all ticket transfer details will be clearly posted on our website.
Who do I contact if I have an inquiry about my ticket purchase?
CelticFest does not directly sell tickets. Please direct inquiries to I Wanna Ticket.
I purchased tickets online but my email never arrived, what do I do?
If you have not received an email you may have incorrectly typed your email address. Please contact I Wanna Ticket customer support. You may be required to provide proof of purchase with credit card or PayPal details.
What will the weather be like?
Weather-wise, September is the best month to visit Warwick. Temperatures are typically maximum 24.3°C, minimum 10.3°C, and for October, 26.2°C /13.1°C. We recommend dressing for warmer temperatures during the day, and bringing a hat and sunscreen. In the evening you may need more layers.
