DAVANTA LIVERY STABLES COBB & CO CARRIAGE RIDES
Take a Cobb & Co carriage ride at CelticFest Warwick! In this very special addition to the 2025 event, Davanta Livery Stables are bringing their white Cobb & Co 11-seater carriage, which will be pulled by their team of purpose-bred coach horses. Davanta will operate rides throughout the day Saturday and Sunday, giving CelticFest patrons the rare chance to experience traveling by horse-drawn carriage. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
The carriage rides will cost $15 per person, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Davanta Livery Stables has a long heritage in carriage driving, with owner Brenden Trace starting his professional carriage-driving career in 2007 at the Outback Spectacular on the Gold Coast. In October 2010 Trace drove one of the six four-horse chariots that featured in Ben-Hur: The Stadium Spectacular at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
Fast forward to the 2020s, and Davanta is focused on keeping the traditions of Cobb & Co alive. Trace trains horses and drivers for carriage-driving, and also travels Australia-wide with his carriages and horses, which are called ‘coachers’. Coachers are a cross-breed between a Clydesdale and a Percheron, with some stock horse or thoroughbred bloodline included.

SOUTHERN DOWNS EXPLORER MINI TRAIN
Hop aboard the Southern Downs Explorer trackless Mini Train at CelticFest, for a tour around CelticFest at the Showgrounds! You can catch the Mini Train near Gate 1, for a circuit that takes you through the Celtic Markets, past Highland Coo corner, around the Meadows, and via the Medieval Arena, before dropping you back at the starting point.
